Intelligence Federal seeks Paralegals with military legal/court experience for an opportunity supporting a Federal government agency.
This team will support federal government attorneys with substantial and important work.
Candidates should be in the Washington DC/Baltimore/Richmond areas.
Remote work is permitted on a regular basis but travel leaving from DC will be required for up to three (3) weeks at a time to assist with court proceedings.
Sample Job Duties:
Perform substantive and procedural legal work to support attorneys and staff.
Assist attorneys and investigators in preparing for hearings, legal discussions briefings, and meetings on various legal matters.
Conduct and assist in factual and legal research for each investigation.
Draft legal documents such as correspondence, complaints, and legal briefs.
Schedule interviews, hearings, witnesses, depositions, and other related discussions.
Investigate claims or potential cases.
Review facts and interview witnesses.
Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen
Must able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance (Current active or previous clearance at this or Secret level preferred)
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in a military and/or JAG environment.

Associates, Bachelors Degree, or Paralegal Certification strongly preferred
Must be willing to travel for up to 3 weeks at a time
Must be a fast typist and willing to do some transcription work
Must exhibit a high level of discretion and personal decorum
Ability to conduct factual and legal research.
Knowledge of Paralegal Methods, Practices and Procedures.
Proficient in litigation discovery software and MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Adobe PDF.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
