PQ BRANDS is a home furniture and lighting manufacturer located in Stevensville, Maryland (on Kent Island) 10 minutes outside of Annapolis
We’re seeking a Seamstress / Tailor / Upholstery Assistant for Full Time work.
Our Upholstery team thrives in a creative environment working on chairs, benches, cushions, headboards, and other unique projects.
Depending on the day’s tasks, team members rotate between sewing fabrics and leather on a variety of equipment and assist with upholstery work
APPLICANTS TYPICALLY HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH:
- Cutting, pattern-matching, and sewing a variety of fabrics, leathers, and trims
- Use of sewing machines and sergers
- Dressmaking, making leather or fabric accessories such as bags, purses, or wallets, tailoring, pattern making, or drapery / curtain work
- Marine or sail canvas work
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Available to work FULL-TIME onsite in our Studio
- 7am to 3:45pm Monday through Friday.
We don’t offer remote or work from home positions.
- Our Artisans enjoy going home at 3:45!
