This is a Mon-Fri, 1st shift position with overtime as needed and occasional weekend work.
This candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing equipment and facilities.
The ability to perform general maintenance, welding and fabrication, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on equipment systems and facilities is helpful but not necessary.

*Responsibilities include but are not limited to:*
* Direct involvement in the overall maintenance, inspection and repair of technical equipment, facilities and utilities in a food manufacturing environment.
* The ability to work as a team with our production leaders to ensure that production equipment needs are prioritized.
* Daily operations will include preventive and corrective maintenance, performing analysis on system failures and equipment performance.
* Use problem solving skills to resolve machine and system issues in a sanitary food manufacturing environment.
* Operate efficiently all hand/power tools, test instruments and equipment normally used in this trade.
* Safety requirements are strongly adhered to; this individual must be attentive to his/her own safety and the safety of other employees in the workplace.
This position requires working in different environmental conditions, such as indoor/outdoor work, entering freezers and coolers and warm cooking areas.
Personal protection equipment (PPE) is required per company safety/sanitation policies.
The ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, lift and work at or above shoulder height is required.
*Qualifications*
Education:
* High school diploma/GED
* Trade school certifications a plus but not required
Required:
* Must be able to meet all physical requirements, including but not limited to lifting up to 50 lbs.
, working from ladders and elevated platforms
* Experience with the use of computer systems and software programs such as Excel, Outlook and Word
* This candidate will need strong team working skills, flexibility, motivation, excellent communication skills, the ability to troubleshoot/problem solve, along with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance procedures
* Valid driver’s license
* The passing of a criminal background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen
Preferred:
* 1-2 years industrial/manufacturing maintenance work experience
* Experience with general plumbing
* Experience with manufacturing and packaging equipment
* Experience supporting a food manufacturing environment
* Ability to read and interpret blue prints and schematics
* Experience interacting with subcontractors
* Experience working with OSHA general industry standards including lockout tagout
* Experience with robotics in a manufacturing environment
* Delaware Waste Water Level 1 License
