, is looking to hire an Assistant Project Manager.
This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position working on-site in their office in Edgewater, MD.
Some travel to job sites in the surrounding area is needed, but with a company vehicle, meaning a clean driving record is required.
The ideal candidate will have work-related experience in the commercial or industrial industry or a college education in Construction Project Management or Engineering.
Training will be provided, but this is a position for a self-starter looking to advance in their career.
The ideal employee will become a Project Manager within two years.
*Essential Job Duties*
* Assist in managing projects
* Purchase materials
* Scheduling and managing crews
* Conduct job-site walkthroughs
* Act as a point of contact and liaison for customers and vendors
* Coordinate with customers and residents
* Tracking project progress for scheduling and invoicing purposes
*Job Requirements*
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Experienced using databases or CRMs
* Experienced using Smartsheets and scheduling software or willing to learn
* Valid driver's license
* Clean driving record
* The ability to read blueprints is a plus
* A college degree in Construction Management or Engineering is a plus
*Compensation*
* Base salary of $55,000 - $75,000 that is commensurate with experience
* Potential annual bonus based on employee performance
