*Job Description:*
_*This is a night shift position Monday - Thursday 2pm-12am.

Abrades surfaces of metal or hard-composition objects to remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt, and to impart specified finish, using abrasive-blasting equipment: Shovels or pours abrasives, such as sand, grit, or shot of specified grade into machine hopper.
Loads parts on racks in enclosed rooms, into tumbling barrels, or into cabinets.
Turns valves on equipment to regulate pressure and composition of abrasive mixture flowing through nozzle.
Starts equipment that directs blast or flow of abrasive-laden compressed air, gas, or liquid over surface of parts.
May examine finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
*Responsibilities:*
* Media blasting of parts
* Degreasing of parts
* Masking parts that do not require blasting
* Disassembly of items prior to processing
* Equipment maintenance
* Maintains safe and clean working environment
* Follows and promotes company safety guidelines
* Presents effective interface with customer by sharing positive attitude and respect, ability, and courtesy
* Communicate with leadership and teammates effectively and in timely manner
Requirements
* Attention to detail
* Must be reliable
* Mechanical aptitude
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to multi-task and make decisions
* Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
* Frequently required to use hands to handle objects
* Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and reach with hands and arms
