*Primary Duties:*
* Manage the day-to-day financial operations including AP, AR, payroll, cash flow management, invoicing, and other transactions.
* Provide direction and accountability to ensure financial controls and transparency.
* Maintain sound, complete, accurate and up-to-the minute financial and accounting information to drive growth and track company’s financial performance
* Manage benefits administration including medical, dental, vision and 401K
* Manage detailed weekly payroll for 30 employees, including certified payroll reporting and adherence to scale job requirements.
* Implement and maintain granular job costing reporting systems to track job profitability and improve future bidding processes.
* Manage payment of insurance for the company – liability, auto, workers compensation, etc.
* Review and complete customer contracts and documentation requirements for eligibility to work on critical jobs, adherence to invoicing procedures, etc.
* Manage the company’s financial accounting via Quickbooks.
All customer invoicing and progress billing and supplier bills are handled through Quickbooks.
* Up-to-the-minute cash flow management, including bank reconciliations, credit card expenditure tracking and reconciliations.
* Work closely with owners, service coordinator, scheduler, estimators, project managers and procurement manager to ensure each job flows smoothly and everyone is apprised of each job’s status and relevant action items.
* Inspections, monitoring, renewals.
Track tech schedules and manage flow of documentation required for customer invoicing, ensuring that all work performed is billed appropriately
* Manage timely processing and payment of all bills to leverage all available discounts and eliminate any potential late fees.
We have a very positive track record with our suppliers that we need to maintain to achieve the best prices and discounts available.
* Work with the company's accounting firm on an as needed-basis regarding various tax issues.
*Skills must have:*
* Full time position.
* Experience in construction industry preferred
* Extensive Quickbooks familiarity is required
* Top-notch organizational skills
* Able to prioritize in a quickly changing environment
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both with internal contacts and customers
* Follow-up and follow through in a dynamic and fast-paced environment is required.
* Excel, Smartsheet & Google platform familiarity preferred.
