What You'll Do:
The P-8A Avionics Subject Matter Expert is a newly created position supporting our
P-8A Maintenance Fleet Introduction Training (FIT) team in PAX River, MD.
In this role, you will utilize your hands-on aircraft maintenance experience, training background, and courseware development knowledge to conduct fleet training on P-8A aircraft system updates and capabilities.
Responsibilities include:
Analyzing and identifying potential maintenance training requirements for systems and support equipment being delivered to the P-8A program
Conducting Fleet Introduction Training (FIT) on new capabilities and instructing maintenance classroom lectures, training devices, and aircraft device sessions for P-8A maintenance personnel
Researching and analyzing engineering and vendor sources for courseware development
Developing enabling objectives (teaching points), learning objectives, performance objectives, and module/lesson strategies
Developing training presentations, and training events/scenarios
Coordinating and organizing technical and procedural information and developing into fleet introduction courseware
Supporting P-8A test events at military installations such as NAS Patuxent River, MD, NAS Jacksonville, FL, and NAS Whidbey Island, Washington, and additional locations for fleet training and development as needed
Requirements:
Who You Are:
The Avionics SME will have the following education, skills, and experience.
8 years of combined aircraft maintenance/operator experience on MPRA aircraft (P-8/P-3/MQ-4) is required
Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) qualification is preferred
Minotaur experience preferred
Training background, Instructor 805A qualification, and Master Training Specialist preferred
