*Job Description:*
Aphena Pharma Solutions is seeking a Blender to join our team in Easton, MD.
As a Blender, you will be responsible for the blending of all ingredients and product preparation.
You will work closely with the Production Manager and Lead Blender to ensure that all products are blended properly and that the product is ready for sale.
*Responsibilities:*
* Prepare ingredients for blending, including but not limited to: flour, sugar, corn syrup, and other ingredients
* Prepare product by mixing various ingredients according to recipe, filling into molds, and pouring into jars
* Clean up work area and kitchen after shift is over
* Keep track of inventory and production costs throughout shift
* Keep accurate records of food served and inventory counts throughout shift
* Keep accurate records of food allergies and food restrictions in order to inform management of any concerns during shifts
* Assist in cleaning up kitchen area after shift is over
* Assist in inventory counts during shifts as needed
* Perform other related duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
·High School Diploma or equivalent required.
·Previous experience in food processing or other related fields preferred.
·Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently.
Must be able to bend, kneel, twist, reach overhead, push, pull, lift and carry equipment.
Must be able to follow instructions and perform tasks under pressure.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Must have a strong desire to learn new skills and take on new challenges with enthusiasm.
Must have strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.
00 - $27.
00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
