This role is pivotal to ensure the facility meets all business priorities and goal targets.

Job Description
Compensation: Starting salary $98K
Hours: 6am-2:30pm (with on-call responsibilities)
Responsibilities and Duties
Manage and oversee the maintenance department.
Assist the Director in preparing the maintenance budget and plan for replacing equipment.
Supervise, train, and develop maintenance team members.
Manage third party contractors on designated equipment categories, ensuring quality of work, timeliness, accuracy of billing and contractor compliance with all applicable compliance categories.
Determine when to outsource maintenance issues and ensure contractors are completing work within guidelines.
Plan and execute yearly maintenance schedule.
Develop and follow preventative maintenance guidelines.
Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance for machines.
Ensure all necessary maintenance is performed and update logs or coordinate as necessary.
Establish new guidelines as necessary.
Oversee troubleshooting, repairs, and installation of machinery relating to bakery food processing equipment, physical structures, and mechanical and electrical systems.
Ensure proper on hand quantities of critical spares are maintained via strong order/receiving practices.
Complete quarterly cycle counts via CMMS for all parts criticality levels.
Ensure proper monitoring of inventory and ordering of parts.
Supervise and provide expertise on the installation, repair, or replacement of electrical devices such as transformers, relays, circuit breakers, starters, and safety and limit switches.
Ensure proper layout, assembly, installation, repair, and/or maintenance of pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, automated machinery, HVAC, and water distribution systems.
Identify safety issues with machines; document issues; develop an action plan to resolve concerns; follow-up to ensure problems are resolved.
Provide Admin level oversight of CMMS usage by all Maintenance team Members.
Labor tracking and analysis, Quality work review, parts utilization, storeroom management, etc.
will all be CMMS driven.
Monitor machines to ensure all levels are within EPA, OSHA, and other government guidelines; develop action plan to resolve issue if not; follow-up to ensure problems are resolved.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree from a two-year college or university, and/or Technical School Training (minimum of two years), and/or minimum of 3 to 4 years related experience, and/or licensed journeyman of a skilled trade
Supervisory experience including hiring, development of team members
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, and mechanical and electrical schematic diagrams
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations
Certified Electrician Electrical and Refrigeration preferred
EPA REFRIGERATION CERTIFICATION (Type II or Universal) preferred
Safe Food Handling Practices preferred
A B I (American Bakery Institute) certified preferred
Hazardous Materials Certification by State (Minnesota only)
