Good Earth Gardeners, LLC is a residential landscape contracting and maintenance company that designs, installs and maintains landscapes in the Anne Arundel County and Eastern Shore regions of Maryland.

We are currently seeking experienced candidates to fill a few roles as Landscape Gardeners.
Applicants should be passionate about plants and the outdoors, always seeking knowledge, and conduct themselves in a professional manner.

Prior professional gardening experience is required - at least 1 year.
As a Landscape Gardener, you will be tending to everything from courtyard plantings and estate gardens, to planted containers and vegetable gardens.
You will be utilizing your knowledge in sound horticultural practices, pest ID, and proper pruning techniques.
The clientele you will be working with care deeply about their gardens.
Communicating with them effectively will be an integral part of your role with Good Earth Gardeners.
The gardens you will be managing include newly completed installations, all the way to well established gardens that are many years old.
*Primary Responsibilities:*
* Tending to perennials and annuals in residential gardens
* Pruning and shaping of shrubs and small trees
* Container planting
* Overall health and growth of the plants
* Overall aesthetic of gardens
*Requirements:* *Professionalism, effective communication and attention to detail * Ability to cultivate a pleasant working environment with fellow employees Willingness to work in all weather conditions
* *Bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs*
* Reliable transportation required.
Current Maryland driver's license required
* Professional certification and training in horticultural skills on a case-by-case basis.
Hourly wage range $17 - $22/Hr, dependent upon experience.
Good Earth Gardeners is a non-smoking workplace.
Work year runs from mid February to late December - usually a 4-6 week break period over winter.
Occasional Saturday work.
Occasional overtime opportunities.
Work day begins at 7:30, ends between 3-6 (but usually around 4:00).
