*Duties and Responsibilities:*
· Repair, disassemble, assemble, and perform failure analysis of heavy equipment including engines, attachments, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, power train, brakes, steering, electronics.
*(Preferred)*
· Inspecting heavy construction for proper performance
· Diagnosing faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair.
· Testing repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers’ specifications
· Detail oriented and team player.
*Requirements:*
· Diesel engine repair: 2 years *(Required)*
· Experience in CAT, John Deere, and Hitachi.
*(Preferred)*
· Mechanical knowledge: 2 years *(Required)*
· Service technician: 2 years *(Required)*
· Driver's License *(Required)*
· Willingness to travel (MD Only): 100% *(Required)*
