Production Team Lead

Position Summary: We are seeking to hire a talented Production Team Lead for Prep in Reeb Core.

The team lead helps the supervisor during the shift and helps coordinate the activities of production and/or warehouse co-workers to ensure smooth production of product in the department.
Also, fill in for supervisor in the event of the supervisor being absent.
Person will be involved in: involved with new hires and their onboarding/training, review process of employees, make recommendations to and communicates with supervisor on safety and quality observations, quality and safety assurance and accident reporting.
This position does not have hiring, review or discipline authority, only input.
This position will sit on the safety committee and will be a first responder.
This position will work on tasks such as: Working knowledge of all hand tools and machinery utilized within department Assist with keeping work stations stocked with consumables and participate in taking weekly inventory of raw materials used in the department (i.
e.
.
Coil clad, paint, etc.
) Work with Supervisor to identify items needed for co-workers within the department to complete their daily tasks Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications – A qualified candidate will have: High School Diploma or GED – Associates Degree preferred.
Two years of related experience.
Manufacturing experience of doors (Plus) Carpentry knowledge (Plus) Experience in the building materials industry (Plus) Excellent hand and eye coordination and attention to detail is necessary skills to have.
Able to add, subtract and multiply into all units of measure using whole numbers Able to use hand tools, pneumatic staple gun, and other electric tools when necessary.
Able to multi-task effectively and work closely with others on the team.
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
