About Our Exciting Career Opportunity
The Systems Engineer role is responsible for assisting with the implementation, support, and maintenance of all corporate compute and storage solutions, virtualized server and desktop environments, and local area network management.
This includes effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of hardware and associated solutions at all corporate data centers, back office locations, and branch locations.
The Systems Engineer will also be responsible for resolution of trouble tickets received at the system engineering support queue levels.
Required Qualifications
This position requires a bachelor's degree from a four year college/university, or five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Active Directory.
This includes extensive knowledge of Windows server and client operating systems as well as supported hardware requirements.
This position also requires a working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 product suite and deployment scenarios as well as support experience with Citrix-based virtual desktop solutions, VMWare virtualization platforms, Veeam and Zerto replication and backup toolsets, Microsoft Exchange, and SAN solutions.
Must possess a working knowledge of system security concepts, directory services, and networking protocols.
MCSE, Azure, and VCP certifications preferred but not required.
Must have effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as demonstrated telephone and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional member service and tactfully manage business relationships, internally and externally are required along with demonstrated professionalism, diplomacy, composure and flexibility.
Ability to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information.
This is a hybrid position.
