We have civil/site engineers, land planners, and surveyors provide planning, design, and construction administration phase services for a wide range of projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.
*Duties:*
* Perform inspection, resident engineer, office engineer and/or project engineer duties on bridge, roadway rail, geotechnical, and drainage projects.
* May mentor lower-level and journeyman level inspectors on basic plan reading, proper construction inspection methods and testing methods used in highway and bridge construction.
* Prepare and keep accurate records, conduct field tests, measure, sketch and ensure contractor in compliance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents.
* Communicate with peers, senior project staff, contractor’s representative and attempt to resolve all issues at the lowest possible level.
* Ensure reporting and daily reports are accurate and in compliance with project requirements.
* Gain or maintain all applicable required certifications.
* Submit Time and Mileage forms to the central office timely and accurately.
* Learn applicable client requirements as they relate to standards and specifications.
* Basic computer skills

*Qualifications*:
* 8 plus years of construction field experience
* Drivers License
* Pre-Employment Background Check
*Preferred:*
* Prior MDTA / SHA / Amtrak / CSX / MPA / DelDot or BCDOT experience
* MDE Responsible Person Certification Card
* SHA Erosion and Sediment Control (Yellow Card)
* MD Temporary Traffic Control Manager
* MARTCP Concrete/HMA/Soils & Aggregates
* OSHA 10 Hour Training
* Experience with Construction Document Management (Procore, eMCMS, etc.
)
* ACI Concrete Field
* WACEL
