*Compensation:* Starting base salary $50,000 to $55,000, increase once back in TX market
United Energy Products (UEP), a growing manufacturer’s representative firm for venting and mechanical equipment products, is looking for an Entry Level Project Manager to join our team.
The person hired for this role will receive extensive training from the company to aid them in their development as a subject matter expert in our organization.
_Training for this role will take place at our Crofton, Maryland headquarters with the expectation that the person will move to fill a Project Manager position in Texas within 12 months.
_At the completion of the training period the incumbent’s salary will be adjusted and participation in our variable compensation plan will commence.

You must be able to effectively liaise both internally with our sales and project management teams as well as with clients to seek and cultivate new opportunities.
*JOB DESCRIPTION*
Our training will prepare you to be able to perform the following:
Be actively involved in local construction projects, bidding and selling products offered by company-represented manufacturers.
Use contract documents provided by local contractors to produce quotes/proposals.
Follow up on previously generated proposals, negotiating final numbers and ultimately selling projects to local contractors.
Once projects are sold, be responsible for management of these projects including in-office generation of submittals and sizing calculations and out-of-office field measuring venting layouts and meeting on-site with contractors.
Issue purchase orders to our manufacturers to initiate production and fabrication of project materials.
Manage project documentation and workflow within our business systems.
Develop a close relationship with the other project managers and estimators in the venting division to maximize profits by ensuring that all projects are properly quoted and managed.
This position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, excellent people skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
*Successful Candidates Must Have:*
* 0 - 2 years of work experience
* Bachelor’s degree preferred, will consider relevant work experience
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
* Understanding of mechanical drawings and written specifications, is a plus
* Working knowledge of Microsoft applications and PDF software
* Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred
* Ability to meet strict deadlines
