*Job Title: *Field Manager – Chimney Works *Job Type: *Full-time; Exempt *Reports to: *Operations Manager *Location: *Crofton, Maryland *Compensation:* $75k Base + Commission Chimney Works, LLC, is part of the UEP Group portfolio of companies, a nationwide group of leading commercial manufacturer rep firms HVAC venting solutions and mechanical products with an unwavering commitment to supporting its customers’ needs.
In conjunction with our United Energy Products business, we provide turnkey prefabricated flue and venting systems for boilers, generators, grease duct, and exhaust systems in commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings in the DMV.

*Job Summary:* As the Field Manager of Chimney Works, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing various aspects of field operations, ensuring seamless execution of projects and adherence to safety protocols.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will have sole responsibilities for specific tasks while collaborating on shared responsibilities to optimize project outcomes.
*Sole Responsibilities:* *1.
Warehouse Management:* Maintain warehouse organization and oversee field supply ordering and management, including but not limited to strut, thread, angle, inserts, etc.

Material Coordination:* Sketch and order installation materials such as chimney covers, fresh air intakes, plenums, and special parts as per project requirements.
*3.
Material Handling:* Receive materials, tag them for customers or organizational purposes, both for service parts and Chimney Works flue materials.
*4.
Documentation:* Manage job site pictures, document material deliveries, and complete necessary paperwork such as job hazard analysis and precon documentation.
*5.
Logistics:* Coordinate material delivery to job sites when necessary, ensuring timely and efficient transportation.
*6.
Vehicle Maintenance:* Conduct vehicle maintenance, inspections, and upkeep to ensure safe and reliable operation.
*7.
Employee Training:* Facilitate documentation talks and update certifications for employees, including OSHA, CPR, lifts, rigging, etc.
*8.
Safety Procedures:* Perform job site safety checks and ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
*9.
Meetings:* Conduct Level 10 meetings using Ninety IO to align team members and address any project-related issues.
*Shared Responsibilities with Director of Operations:* *1.
Installation Management:* Assist in scheduling installations and allocating manpower between service and install departments to optimize project timelines and resource utilization.
*2.
Site Visits:* Conduct site visits, including previews, post views, and quality control inspections, to ensure work meets quality standards and client expectations.
*3.
Timekeeping:* Maintain accurate records of employee timekeeping to facilitate payroll processing and project tracking.
*4.
Problem Solving:* Provide on-site support and assist in problem-solving to address any issues that arise during project execution.
*5.
Safety Compliance:* Collaborate with the Director of Operations to ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures.
*Required Skills:* · Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, QuickBooks, and Paint Drawing software.
· Experience operating a forklift and proficiency in warehouse organization, certification preferred.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Proficiency in computer applications such as FSM, Monday, Netsuite, HRIS, and job file management.
· Clean driving record and experience driving box trucks, with knowledge of DOT regulations.
· 5+ years of installation experience and ability to read construction plans.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with customers and team members.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting purposes.
This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong understanding of installation and construction processes, along with a commitment to maintaining high safety standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.
*Physical demands and work environment:* · Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
· Must be physically capable of walking, stooping, crawling, climbing, kneeling, crouching, handling, reaching, depth perception, field of vision, balancing, hearing, and talking.
· Work is performed in the field at customer job sites and workers may be subjected to possible bodily injury from equipment, tools, materials, etc.
· The work environment may include exposure to weather, extreme heat (including humidity) or cold, noise intensity level, atmospheric conditions, exposure to electrical shock, exposure to radiation, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, proximity to moving mechanical parts, working at heights, etc.
