Mary's Annapolis seeks qualified candidates for a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician.
Under the general direction of the Facilities Manager, this position will oversee the maintenance of the building.
This includes the primary fields of electrical; heating, ventilation, air-conditioning (HVAC); carpentry, plumbing, etc.
Essential Functions
Performs basic and routine maintenance, construction, and repair tasks according to service, quality, and safety standards.
Assist with miscellaneous facility projects, including painting, drywall, carpentry, installation of fixtures, and moving furniture or materials within the facilities.
Position Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Must possess a valid driver's license with no more than three current points.
A minimum of 5 years of commercial or institutional experience in the identified primary field.
Possession of journey-level certification.
Must be able to move furniture, equipment, and other materials weighing up to and more than 100 pounds; to move about within very tight spaces where large and potentially dangerous equipment is stored; to operate various types of manual and power tools and automated systems; and to ascend/descend a ladder as needed.
