What you will do:
You will plan and prepares production schedules for manufacture of commercial Air Handling products and Components.
How you will do it:
Manages schedule to meet customer order needs and maintain ship dates consistent with published product leadtimes.
Provides appropriate paperwork & information to machine operators, material coordinators, and others as needed.
Handles ordering, collection, and shipment of ship loose parts.
Schedules units based upon guidelines provided by the Operations, Materials and Production Control Managers.
Tracks and reports on production progress at daily operations meetings and at shift handoff meeting.
Tracks availability of materials and addresses issues as they arise.
Develops and issues manufacturing orders in accordance with master production schedules for subassembly and final assembly operations.
Identifies and resolves issues impacting production planning and schedule attainment objectives.
Responsible for ensuring ERP system transactions are completed daily on a perpetual basis for production control and inventory control.
Works closely with order editing, product data management and inventory management to ensure total accuracy.
Communicates daily with buyers, Receiving and Storeroom, shipping, engineering, MOM team and manufacturing personnel as to status of orders and any other production questions or issues.
What we look for:
High School diploma or GED.
Five (5) years of related experience.
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
ERP experience
Expeirence within a manufacturing / production environment
Expeirence working with sales
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, vendors, and/or factory reps.
Basic math skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and MAPICS .
