CACI is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer who will lead the on-site engineering group to determine the most effective means of meeting divisional goals, driving process improvement, and supporting AS9100-D efforts for CRIC-ES at Lexington Park, MD.
What You’ll Get to Do:
The role will hire, train, supervise and develop engineering staff and support succession planning.
Research, evaluate, and design mechanical and electro-mechanical products, equipment, and systems to meet diverse customer requirements.
Identify and drive Research and Develop initiatives to support a variety of customer needs across multiple disciplines
Develop, coordinate, or monitor multiple aspects of production operations; including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication or operation of product designs.
Directly support emergent customer needs for rapid solutions development.
More About the Role:
This position will report to the Site Director and will interface with a wide array of disciplines in project management, manufacturing, assembly and integration while managing a diverse group of engineering disciplines.
The role will include a significant amount of direct interface with the Customers’ Project Managers and Engineers to create solutions for complex mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
US Citizenship is required to obtain clearance.
Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering-related technical field.
At least 10 years of experience leading engineers in support of complex integration .
At least 5 years of experience with the engineering (design, development, installation, integration, operational maintenance, or testing) of C5ISR Systems.
Working knowledge of engineering software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Pro-E, Creo, Windchill, CNC Programming, etc.
)
Familiar with NAVAIR/NAWC-AD engineering methodologies.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
An active DoD Top Secret clearance.
Master’s degree in engineering, computer science or other related technical field.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Certification.
BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD).
Security+ and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications.
Experience with proposal and bid preparation.
Aerospace project integration experience desired.
