Job Summary
With guidance and supervision from the QA Manager and Analyst this position supports the Quality Assurance organization and is responsible for the daily execution of all medical cannabis quality processes as assigned for both operations.
The incumbent will work within company standards and the applicable state regulations.
Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)
Under supervision, monitors processes for each stage of product manufacturing operations to ensure adherence to both internal and external regulations, escalating any potential quality issues to the QA Manager
Ensures auditing and manufacturing documentation is kept up to date onsite
Creates, revises and implements Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for critical equipment and processes and/or controls utilizing the organization's document management system
Assists in training manufacturing staff on quality-related procedures, protocols, and good documentation practices
Reviews raw materials, labels and packaging materials to ensure compliance with state regulations
Inspects in-process and finished products throughout different stages of the product life cycle
Assists in the management of third-party lab testing on in-process and/or finished products
Investigates quality concerns related to manufacturing issues and/or customer product complaints
Conduct investigations to assess the root cause of quality incidents and determine effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions
Performs line clearance procedures by inspecting equipment and work areas and performing ATP surface testing prior to production start-up and completion.
Maintains cleaning validation instrumentation and its calibration and supplies
Drive continuous improvement of core processes to ensure manufacturing quality is maintained while efficiency is optimized
Serve as on-site Compliance department subject matter expert (SME) and act as a liaison for the department during regulatory inspections
Supports QA Manager with annual reviews of SOPs
Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community

Secure state-required licensure and/or other certifications as required
All other duties as assigned, including but not limited to, multisite support as needed
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
High School required, plus 5 years related work experience or Associate's degree, plus three years related work experience
Experience having worked in a cannabis and/or manufacturing environment strongly preferred
Experience with cGMP requirements, preferred
Age: State law requires that applicants be 21 years old to work for a cultivation center
Certifications: None
Must be able to pass a background check and acquire applicable credentialing in states where required to access company facilities.
Working conditions
Work in a manufacturing environment
Indoor agricultural, typical manufacturing and warehouse environment.
May include warmer, agricultural conditions, and wearing PPE as required.
Travel 50% to other PharmaCann facilities.
You will be required to work at both the Lothian cultivation facility and the Stevensville processing facility on alternate days throughout a five (5) day work period.
Physical requirements
This job may be required to stand and/or walk for long periods of time and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
