Lawson Home Services is looking for motivated, detail oriented BPI Certified Home Energy Auditor.
Must be able to work independently and be a people person with a great positive attitude.
GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:
Energy Auditor will conduct residential assessments to identify energy efficiency improvement opportunities, including insulation and air sealing upgrades.
Produce accurate customer energy reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to earn BPI Certification (We will train the right candidate).
100-200 performed Audits
Experience in residential construction, HVAC, building diagnostics, air filtration reduction, attic insulation.
Strong customer service and client relationship management skills and enthusiasm for energy conservation.
Construction experience is helpful but not required (insulation, air conditioning, framework, solar, flooring, industrial cement, roofing etc.
)
Specific experience in home energy performance.
Positive attitude and outlook- our company culture needs to be reflected in every aspect of the business.
Excellent work ethic.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work in attic heat for extended periods of time.
DE driver’s license with clean driving record.
Pass background check as well as pass drug screen.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interview and discuss customers concerns, comfort and Health.
Review energy usage details.
Inspect exterior and interior of home.
Inspect attic – Air barrier, insulation, duct work, and air handler/furnace.
Generate written report.
Provide the office all required program data in an accurate and timely manner.
Provide to the office proper and timely reporting of scheduled appointments.
Be able to keep job sites clean, equipment and tools organized, maintain cleanliness in and around equipment and job site.
Be able to perform general construction tasks such as basic framing, nailing, etc.
Minimum of 2 years as job foreman or crew leader.
