*WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: *
* Working primarily on an asphalt milling crew
* Make sure the newly milled surfaces and job site are clean and free of milling dust, debris, etc.
* Responsible for grinding the asphalt around road structures (catch basins, manholes, valve boxes, etc.
)
* Cutting butt joints for paving, and “fine-tuning” milled surfaces where the asphalt milling machine couldn’t get to.
* Performs loading operations of various materials
* Performs stockpiling operations of various materials as required by project operations.
* Perform required pre-trip inspections for of equipment daily.
* Carries and transports various materials using the equipment within the machine limit of the capacity.
* Ensures that the equipment is operated within the limits of its specifications as indicated on the equipment manual.
* Ensures that the equipment is properly parked and shut-off on the designated location after operation.
* Ensures the cleanliness of the interior, exterior and accessories of the equipment is maintained at all times.
* Assists in the basic preventive maintenance of the equipment.
* Follows established safety guidelines, procedures and safe equipment operation practices.
* Performs other related job/duties as may be assigned by the superior from time to time
*WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: *
* 2 years minimum experience (MUST)
* Able to work day or night shifts as required
* Knowledge of all USDOT & FMCSA safety regulations
* Team oriented
* High school Diploma
* Safety-first attitude
* High Attention to detail
* Ability to perform required pre-trip inspections for vehicles/equipment
* Capable of working in all weather conditions
*Additional Requirements:*
* Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.

* Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
