ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Inspect, test, repair, repack, and/or manufacture (ALSS) aircraft and related aircrew survival, ALSS equipment, support equipment, oxygen components, and accessories by applicable Maintenance Instruction Manuals (MIMs), Illustrated Parts Breakdowns (IPBs), Technical Directives (TDs), Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs), Navy Instructions, manufacturers' manuals, company instructions, and other approved data.
Maintain appropriate records of all work accomplished.
Be capable of operating, adjusting, cleaning, and lubing a sewing machine, sewing heavy and/or light material and vinyl by machine or manually as directed by special instruction for removal, installation, and/or minor repair of flight clothing.
Maintain cleanliness of the work center and around your assigned work area.
Provides technical assistance, guidance, and instruction as required.
Maintains and/or completes required records and applicable maintenance forms.
Annotates maintenance actions in aircraft forms and VIDS/MAF and NALCOMIS/OOMA.
Must be capable of obtaining Non-Nuclear Ordnance Certification
Must deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous, professional, and effective manner.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must have a current civilian driver's license, and be able to obtain and maintain a Government flight line driver’s license.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a level of security clearance required by the Company and/or Government.
Must be able to read, interpret, follow and comprehend schematic diagrams, drawings, charts, and other technical publications.
Must have a working knowledge of basic computer systems.
OOMA experience preferred.
Must be willing and able to work with job-required hazardous materials.
Must be willing and able to conduct specialty on-the-job training.

Qualifications/Education Required
High School or better in General Studies or related field.
Completed Navy PR “A” School and CNATTU for specific T/M/S or T/M/S factory equivalent training course.
Have three (3) years of experience within the last six (6) years in ALSS and equipment repair.
