We are currently seeking a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Configuration Management Analyst, Junior, to support The USMC Light/Attack Helicopter Programs Office (PMA-276) in Patuxent River, MD customer.
The Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Configuration Management Analyst, Junior will provide Configuration Management support to PMA-276.
Functional Description: Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules.
Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.
Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data.
Tracks program/project status and schedules.
Collects, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft and product programs.
Maintains configuration control of acquisition products and data.
Tracks configuration changes.
Coordinates and supports development of Engineering Change Proposals.
Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Provide Configuration Management/Data Management (CM/DM) support for developmental projects in accordance with established processes.
Review CM policy documentation to ensure consistency with modification, upgrades, safety, and installation program requirements in support of the H-1.
Analyze draft ECPs and technical comments concerning changes for CCB review.
Required Education: AS or AA degree in a business, management, or relevant technical discipline.
Allowable Substitution: Two (2) years of additional experience can be substituted for an AS or AA degree.
Required Experience: Zero to three years of experience.
Desired Experience: Experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline, related to weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management; and FMS support experience preferred.
