We are currently looking to hire an individual who can use their Machine Shop Cost Estimator experience to add value and make a significant impact as a Cost Estimator to NAVAIR on-site at Patuxent River NAS, MD for this opportunity.
The viability of this position is contingent upon acontract award in response to an active RFP (Request for Proposal).
Primary Responsibilities:
Leads tasks with little or no guidance.
Prepare cost estimates for product manufacturing, construction projects, or engineering services to aid management in bidding on or determining price of product or service.
May specialize according to particular service performed or type of product manufactured.
Requirements:
Education/Experience/Skills:
Active Secret Clearance
Three (3) years of Cost Estimating experience directly related to the DoD is required.
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline.
Nine (9) total years of experience can be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
Current Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.

Citizenship required and you must be able to obtain a U.
S.
DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to start date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.
