Senior Systems Administrator
KBR is looking to add a Senior System Administrator to our team to provide RDT&E environment support to our DOD customers in Patuxent River, MD.
This is a full-time on-site position.
This position offers a CWS/Flex Schedule.
Core working hours: M-F, 8-3pm
In this role, you will…
Manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of windows workstations and servers and perform hardware and software installations.
Support virtual and physical workstation and server configurations
Perform general IT requirements, installation, configuration, maintenance, and security in a classified or unclassified network environment
Provide Windows 10 workstation and Server 2019 administration
Support the virtualization of Windows systems (VMWare ESXi)
Provide ACAS/Nessus vulnerability and scanning support
Support Active Directory
Monitoring performance including monitoring disk space, utilization, capacity and availability
Support ISSOs in implementing and supporting cyber security standards to include NIST and Risk Management Framework (RMF) C&A Standards
Create and maintain user accounts and install hardware/software.
Perform system backup and recovery.
Administer network security measures.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen
Clearance: Must have an active Top Secret Clearance.
Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Certification: CompTIA Security + CE
Required education & years of experience (+substitution options below)
Education: Masters Degree
Experience: 10 years of work experience in infrastructure, operating systems, system administration environment
OR
Education: Bachelors Degree
Experience: 14 years of work experience in infrastructure, operating systems, system administration environment
OR
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 16+ years of relevant work experience in infrastructure, operating systems, system administration environment
