Manufacturing Plant Manager

Top Tier Manufacturer looking for a Manufacturing Plant Manager to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to direct and manage all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, engineering, quality, and other production-related activities while ensuring the mill’s number one priority is safety.
Lead the mill’s culture initiative to create a great place to work for attracting and retaining top talent.
Employ lean manufacturing techniques, visual controls, and plant performance measures to meet production goals and strive for continuous improvement.
Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and better working relationships.
QUALIFICATIONS 8+ years experience as a Manufacturing Plant Manager (MUST HAVE) Experience with P&L's and Budgets (MUST HAVE) Experience with Lean Management or Six Sigma, KPI's and other Metric tracking (MUST HAVE) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Material Science, Operations Management or Business; and / or combination of education and equivalent relevant years of experience Previous experience in metals is strongly desired Travel required This role will be ONSITE out of the Salisbury, MD facility.
