Irrigation Technician

```Duties``` - Install and maintain irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties - Dig trenches and install pipes, valves, and sprinkler heads - Repair and troubleshoot irrigation systems to ensure proper functioning - Adjust sprinkler heads to provide optimal coverage for lawns and gardens - Perform regular inspections to identify leaks, clogs, or other issues - Program and set timers for irrigation systems based on specific watering needs - Collaborate with landscape designers and contractors to plan irrigation layouts ```Skills``` - Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with power tools - Experience in landscape maintenance and lawn care techniques - Proficiency in using hand tools for digging, cutting, and assembling irrigation components - Knowledge of different types of irrigation systems, including drip irrigation and sprinkler systems - Ability to read blueprints and follow technical specifications for installation and repairs - Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and resolve issues in irrigation systems - Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot system malfunctions Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
