Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team.
As a Lead Carpenter, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing various carpentry projects, including fabricating, installing, and repairing structures made of wood, plaster, siding, and other materials.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in the restoration industry and a passion for delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of carpenters on construction sites
- Read blueprints and follow specifications to determine project requirements
- Fabricate and install wooden structures, including framing, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and roofing
- Repair and restore damaged structures caused by water damage or mold remediation
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient project completion
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in the restoration industry
- Proficient in various carpentry techniques and tools
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
